How to install a USB Serial Emulation Datalogic Barcode Reader.



1) Execute a self extracting program (DriverCom.exe) downloaded from the Datalogic WEB page.


2) Choose the directory where you want to store the driver, 
   or use a default folder: "WINDOWS TEMP".


3) Complete the extraction and close the program.


4) Plug the Reader into the USB Host and execute the installation steps 
   as described in the quick reference.


5) After a correct configuration of the reader (USB-COM), Host will need to know where 
   the drivers are located. 
   
   
6) Select the folder where the files are saved (ess. C:\windows\temp\drivercom ).

7) During the process, host will need a further confirmation of the drivers location.

8) Complete the installation by confirming the remaining steps. 


The device will be mapped in the first free COM, after all physical and 
virtual COMs already installed in your system.
